Role Overview
The Sales Engineer will serve as a key technical resource and trusted advisor for customers and prospects across the East Coast of the United States. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions that address business challenges.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and technical deep dives for prospects and customers.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, building trust and rapport with stakeholders.
- Articulate the value and differentiation of the company’s solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform strategic sales approaches.
- Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams on customer needs and market insights.
- Support the development of technical sales materials, including presentations, whitepapers, and documentation.
- Collaborate with channel partners to enable and support joint sales efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role within the cybersecurity sector.
- Deep understanding of networking technologies, cybersecurity concepts, and protocols.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to perform hands-on troubleshooting and POC setup.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Willingness to travel across the East Coast for customer meetings, events, and presentations.
