Account Executive – Series A Cybersecurity Vendor

Our client, a fast-growing Series A cybersecurity company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing relationships.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and leadership to refine messaging and value propositions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to showcase the company’s cybersecurity solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving cybersecurity threats to position the company’s value effectively.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and contribute to overall revenue goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience selling to security teams, CISOs, and IT decision-makers is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
