Position Overview

The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of the firm's systems and data. Responsibilities

• Automate security processes and procedures to create a highly resilient infrastructure
• Conduct threat assessments and provide recommendations at the network, server, and endpoint levels
• Participate in threat and vulnerability management exercises to reduce attack surface
• Investigate anomalous activities and generate actionable reports for senior management
• Analyze data sets using tools such as SQL, Python, and Pandas to produce insightful reports
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure robust security measures

Requirements

• Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Go, etc.) for automation tasks
• Comfort using Linux shell for system troubleshooting and understanding
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting across the stack
• Knowledge of DNS, SSL/TLS, and secure traffic establishment on IP networks
• Understanding of secure Identity Management and Authentication principles
